Department Stores - Furniture and home accessories - sale or return????

    Hello,

I’m a hobby woodworker considering trying to get some of my products into department stores – smaller wood items – chopping boards / cd racks / shelving units etc.

Do department stores such as arnotts, debenhams etc. take in such goods on a sale or return basis or do they buy a small quantity from manufacturers / makers and keep them in storage themselves??

Also any advice on how to approach / contact the relevant buyers in department stores would be great.

    Thanks
