Backup and restore

    I am hopefully picking up my HTC Sensation tomorrow, but would like to put all my apps and text messages from my Desire onto it. Can anyone recommend the best backup app to do this? Am a bit dim when it comes to some things:D

    I use sms backup and restore for messages

    App List Backup for the apps (saves links to the market as opposed to the actual apps)

    Then transfer sd card to new phone and download App List Backup from the market and hit restore.

    Google does also have a backup data option which I find works somewhat

    Note you will lose all your app info (stuff like angry birds savegames) and text messages. To do a proper backup you gotta root phone.
