Major fault across Waterford. A lot of places effected. No estimated time for recovery.

ESB apologises for any inconvenience this may have caused and regrets that there is an outage in your area.

    :P

All grand in Cherrymount, we had a cut here in Feb/March when some contractor cut the lines.Years ago there was a two day affair as they had to bring in a new substation from England. Luckily it was middle of summer.

Inconvenience my árse - it went in the Jute factory as well. PA systems and amps are not supposed to just lose power like that. Never mind the fact that there is no windows, it was like being in a cave without a torch.

Was in the cinema watching Super 8. There was a scene in the film where the power goes out across the town. Then the power went out in the cinema. Lights came back straight away, took a bit longer to get the reel going again but twas grand.
