I'm looking for a good bike for my daughter who will be seven on saturday.

Only two requirements, has to be pink and not come from halfords!

    Any suggestions?

Do you want a bike for a good girl or a good bike for a girl?

I've heard that Isla bikes are good, but I dunno where you can get them in Cork.

They only deal direct, and the last I'd heard they've stopped shipping to Ireland due to a change of courier.

Puky bikes are fantastic but not cheap, the only shop that I know of that sells them in the ROI is in Dublin though, but you can order online, the only thing difficult would be getting the size right, at seven years of age I would be thinking 20" or 24" depending on the size of your "good girl":D

The yellow pages will give a more comprehensive list but you could also consider:
    Barber's Ballyphehane (Connolly Road?)
    Bike shop on Barracks St
Bike shop in Douglas (Back Village)
    Bike shop off Coal Quay
Capwell Bike Shop, next to Stiofan Naofa school
I've no idea how good the range\availability of kid's bike might be in any of these shops

West End Cycles in Ballincollig has a good range of kids bikes too.

Victoria Cross Cycles is my local bike shop and I've always found them good to deal with, not sure what they have in the way of kids bikes though, although I'm fairly sure they have a part of the shop dedicated to kids bikes. Your best bet is just to call into a few of the shops named above and see if anything meets your daughter's exacting requirements!
