    hi... planning on getting married in the next yea and would like to have the ceramony/reception somewhere unusual
    any suggestions? plz

    Dublin Zoo have had weddings before!

    Fota Island resort is amazing too, you could have the ceremony in Fota House and could get pics with the lemurs in the wildlife park :D

    Delphi has a wedding section. I was just looking at it. The spa looks lovely as does the hotel. You have the added bonus of having the activity centre there too...get rid of your hangover!

    Only thing is the actual legal bit would have to be done separately because AFAIK the HSE will only do weddings in approved locations and won't do them outdoors. :(

    And you'd need a plan B, predicting the weather the day beforehand is not always accurate so good luck with a year or so before.

    There are village rentals for weddings, they probably include accomodation for a different feel from the traditional hotel.
