I want to get photo shop can you get it free to download? do they sell them in shops if so what would be cost? getting into designing posters etc.. and I want to get one of those softwear if you have any info thanks

You can get it cheaper if you're a student, but it's not free to download.

You can buy old versions for a cheaper price, on eBay, etc. You could probably get Photoshop 7.0, for example, for €50 or thereabouts, and a beginner wouldn't even notice the different between that and CS5.
