    Hi

Looking for some help, I have an Acer laptop running windows 7 and all of a sudden when I go into My Computer, my D: drive is done. My hard drive is partitioned into c and d.
When I go to disk mgmt I can see the partition but the volume name is blank and so is the file system type. When I right click it the only option is 'help' but it is no help, i cannot rename etc. There are 2 other partitions 10gb and 3.54gb, I also need these sorted as they too are missing file sytem and volume.
I have recovered the files on the d partition using MiniTool so not too fused about deleting the partition but my c drive is only half the size it should be if it is a single partition, an I making sense???

Anyway, anyone know how to fix?

Looks like they aren't getting assigned letter anymore. Google for how to assign drive letters or get a partition manager.

    Check here.

Normally you'd right click the drive and a number of options are there including the option to change the drive letter. Right clicking any of the 3 partitions that don't have a volume name in the pic above gives only one option 'help'. Clicking help just brings you to the general disk management help section and it contains nothing relating to my issue!!!
I can't be the first person ever to have this issue!
