Upstairs/downstairs books

Hi everyone,

Are there any good upstairs/downstairs books out there? I loved Downton Abbey and would like to read more on the subject before the new season starts.

I heard about "Below stairs" from Margaret Powell but it seems that the reviews are quite average.

The only one I can remember is The House at Riverton. I think it's by Kate Morton and another is The Remains of the Day by something Ishiguru! I can never remember his first name!

Snobs or Past Imperfect by Julian Fellowes, who wrote Downton.
I haven't read them though, and they seem to be more Upstairs than Downstairs from the descriptions
