    Hi there,

I've been lokking at some watch websites and came across these two. they seem to offer crazy reductions on watches,
eg was 900 dolars , now 100 dollars
    http://www.thewatchery.com/
    www.worldofwatches.com

are the watches fake or is it legit
Any good websites out here to browse and buy watches on

    Thanks

watchfinder.co.uk is pretty good or do a search on the various sales forums on some of the watch forums

    also
    http://www.watchrecon.com/
    http://elitedealseeker.com/index.cgi?category=watches

Also, I wouldn't pay too much attention to the MSRP and the discounts they claim to be offering, the worst offenders for that type of thing are in-flight magazines.......

"Herr Weinerschnitzel who invented the next step forward in Swiss watchmaking and before bringing his new invention to the public he dies in mysterious circumstances...but now his grandson Herr Weinerschnitzel II has discovered his original blueprints and upgraded the original design with a state of the art Chinese Quartz Movement with an exhibition caseback to display this engineering marvel in a case that is plated in the finest 18K European gold.....and that very watch is now available to buy at the exclusive discounted price of $599.99, this watch retails at luxury boutique stores for $9999.99"

Always do your research before parting with the cash:

(Most of the problems with the Watchery in the reviews seems to be overseas customers getting duff watches with no comeback)

As long as it has a seetrough caseback to admire the beautiful movement and the gold used is 100% European (no more, no less), you can sign me up for 2 watches!!!

If you want to part with your hard earned money, do your homework first and don't trust the advertised RRP. As the others sugested, there are plenty of legit sites that you can check the real value on a watch.
