Time for me to ask you to do what you have done countless times before... help someone choose a new laptop.

I'm based in the UK at the moment and am willing to spend ~500 pounds on it. I used to have a samsumg r60+ which was well able for all my needs while I had it. I don't play any top end games (still hooked on CM 01/02) but would use it for the usual music/films etc.

People around here seem to be mentioning Lenovo laptops so I was thinking maybe a G570 or a G770. What do yea think? Thanks.

    Hey there,
I am also looking for a new laptop around this price. I have my eye on an Asus K53sj. There are 3 different specs on it one with an Intel i7,i5 or i3 processor.

I have never uploaded a pic to a post before but I have this chart on Laptop failure rates, Asus seem to have the lowest so they seem like they are reliable to me?

Hope this helps and here is a link to a page that has the K53sj.... sorry it's in Russian..
