VGA to HDMI - no picture

    Laptop - VGA. TV - HDMI> Bought the converter box on Fri, connected up per instructions. Should have been easy but no pic on tv. Checked screen resolution on laptop - all ok. Have no idea - any help?

    Have you set the output from the laptop to vga out? Usually can be toggled with the Fn key and one of the number keys, should have an icon that looks like two screens?

    I realise your post is over a month old, and u may have fixed the problem by now! I bought a converter and it worked perfectly when i turned it on. go to your tv remote press source button and scroll to hdmi,it works for me!
