Citroen are opening a new dealership at Airside in Dublin (link). It will open before the end of the year.

There'll be quite a few positions to be filled so thankfully it will be additional motor industry jobs which makes a welcome change from all the bad news.

Photo looks like an airbrushing of HB Dennis showroom who were Citroen dealers in the recent past. Will the crowd in Lusk lose out now, with a dealer closer to the city or airport. Swings and roundabouts. Citroen seem to chop and change dealerships a lot.

Yes, it is the old HB Dennis showroom. The Citroen operation will be run by the PSA Retail Group.

Lusk Motors are no longer Citroen dealers.

You'd never think that looking at their website and they are not the only ones.

Is HB Dennis gone? Lusk Motor Group are Subaru dealers now I think...

I'd say they just have more showroom space (units) than they need. They always seemed more focused on Land Rover and Volvo. They never really made a go of Subaru when they had it, compared with say C&R. HBD have had a few different marques in recent years including Hyundai and Citroen.

I was in there early last year looking at a few cars, the place was a mess and all three cars that I wanted to have a look at had flat batteries, we were told to call back during the week and they'd be able to jump start them (this was on a Saturday or Sunday), we didn't bother...
