Looking for diesel jeep

    a friend of mine is looking for a cheap jeep / suv
    should be diesel
    under 3.0L engine
    budget 5000
    age not so important but not going back further than 2000 ideally and hopefully not shot to bits from farm use
    use is mainly non 4x4 type stuff - want carrying capacity for sports gear etc.
    he has no real need for a jeep vehicle in terms of the use really but is set on the jeep shape....
