Don't suppose it's the sub zero model. What part of the country are you in?

NOT the subzero, for the simple reason, you will never need it in this country, these units have bee tested to -17. I have used it in the cold and have never had a problem. Im in Co Armagh, i have another which i am keeping.

I know the nd3 was crap and a friend had an nd5 which he had to make up all sorts of mounts to fix it to the scope as it's not a scope mounted laser but have seen some good reviews about this one. Have you used it much and for what?

Moby, you dont have to make mounts for this as this is a scope mounted laser, it comes with a 1" ring you insert into the directional mount, or you leave it out for the 30mm, it has been used for fox control, in fact my last fox shot with this was thursday night, did not pay any attention to the light, but i did have 1 run from me, but that was with all the lights shone on him, red etc, he was a well lamped fox.

It was the nd5 I was talkin about with no mounts- that's why I'm interested in this one.and It's the oul lamp shy foxes that Im lookin to nail. The only negative reviews were for the actual mounts saying that they Could be easily knocked out of line- what do you reacon- looks very neat in the photos-
