hi ive had no heat inside a 2004 passat tdi and read that it could be a matrix problem and to remove the 2 rubber hoses and flush it out with water which i did and i did get a very slight bit of heat back but now when im driving along there always water gurgling i think from the matrix, would there be trapped air or something i forgot to do..

    thanks

Id suggest bleeding the system via the heater matrix inlet pipe underneath a plastic cowling where the battery. There should be a white markng on the pipe. Release the hoseclip and pull the ose back until the bleed hole is revealed and run the car to temperature and wait until all only coolant is coming from that hole and not air.
