Just back from a Sunday drive... Meself and the mrs pulled up at the beach in Clougherhead at around dinner time. The beach was fairly busy considering the day.. We were sitting in the car looking out at the sea when herself spotted a rat wandering around on the sand..now you can imagine the roar!! But the rat was nt too bothered wit us.. He mosied around for a good 10 minutes before we left.. He was a dying looking yoke...thin and with a very bad coat.. The place looked as clean as any other beach in ireland.. Just wondering is that a favourite place for our furry friends to sun bath or are they to be seen on all our lovely beaches?
