I've been dealing with creches for the last number of years & have noticed that they're exclusively run & staffed by women.

You never see men working in creches.

Can anybody else think of 'Things you don't see'?

A male friend of mine used to work in a creche, he wasn't allowed to change nappies unless there was another creche worker beside him (even though the female workers could change them on their own)

He said a lot of the parents used to look at him like "why are you working in a creche" so he gave up working there.

I spose I generalised a bit in my OP.

I'm not having a pop at any bloke that works in a creche.

I just was thinking aloud on something based on my own personal experiance & seeing the type of answers I would find on AH.

I dunno , at a guess they might use the same methods as before ie, prey on some innocent walking into their clutches on foot or traditionally driving while looking for a hitchhiker , far away from home .
