Connecting a psp to the internet

    Hi got a psp slim i think (for the kids i swear) :D but when we try to connect it to the internet it says

    Check the security settings for the network and try again, never had this trouble with the ps3

    Any help greatly appreciated

    I actually had this problem with Our 2 psp's for well over a year. It drove Me nuts.....Read everything I could find on how to sort it,,and nothing worked.

    A few months ago We bought a new Router as the old one was on it's last legs,and for the sake of it,I tried the psp's again.

    They both connected no bother,and are still working away now. Both got 100% signal strength as well.

    Not saying it's what's wrong with yours,(Might be worth just re-setting it?),but,,it may help anyway. It defo sorted Ours.

    I've noticed before also that the psp doesn't always support the security encryption that is used by your router. I couldn't connect to wifi recently because the router was using WPA2 (or something like that) and my psp firmware didn't support it.

    A firmware update may have sorted it but I didn't want to update.
