    I am 20 years old and have never had a real friend. There's been people I THOUGHT were my friends but they never were. It's always so embarrassing. Anyway, based on the last 20 years I believe it's a fair assumption to make saying I'll always be alone. I'm just not a likeable person, that's plain as day. I don't like it but I'm sure in time I'll fully accept it and will embrace it.

    So fellow members of the human race, what causes you to shun people? Tell me about people you know that no one likes. As humans, do you enjoy the company of most other humans? Are you well liked? What do you suggest the unlovable do about their pointless lives (that's not you say their lives are any more pointless than anyone elses, mind you)?

    well for starters first impressions matter a lot and things like an offensive username on boards can turn people against you before you have an opportunity to show that you are a likeable character.
