    Hey guys,

I had an accident while on holiday and the car got written off. Everything was covered by their insurance and thankfully no one was hurt.

Anyway do/should I contact my insurance company here at home and let them know, and would it effect my prenium/NCB?

    Thanks

I had an accident last year in Spain where a nutjob in another car drove up the wrong way with no lights on causing me to swerve and hit a 1 foot high kerb causing a lot of damage to the front of the car. I'd taken out the extra insurance thankfully. All was sorted there and I was given another car no questions asked.

Was told there would be no further action as I was insured with their own insurance and was covered. When you rent a car abroad you are covered under their insurance plus whatever extra insurance you take out so it has nothing to do with your insurance back home at all !! So as said above, no and no/no !!

Oh . . and I think your "prenium" has probably suffered enough ;)
