    Hey, just thought I'd start this for all the people wo do rowing.... :D How much training do ye do and how often? :)

    I run by the liffey most weekends, and always want to give rowing a go...

    Do the clubs have novice/rookie teams [indeed at 35 I could well be a vet!]

    Amazed there is no rowing thread on the boards, maybe everyone is too busy training?!
    ...Havent rowed since a failed attempt in school , too weak..but I would train for running /athletics every day, and would train with lads from a current/former rowing background who are seriously fit. Interesting to know how much rowers train each week in comparison..

    I know guys train everyday and coming into the season go to twice a day. I can find out their programme if anyone is interested.
