    If I had €22k cash I wouldn't be buying a 2L diesel.

Yes, you are mad (in my opinion). ;)

I would try to get an S-Line or Sport for that money.

Here is one in Dublin. 2009. Higher Mileage but certainly worthy.

BTW. They say S-Line but I think its only a Sport. Open to Correction.

That has a sport steering wheel, but they're SE alloys, I don't think they're SLine seats either.

They are not s line seats either. IIRC the sline comes with xenons and that car dont have them. Also the sline has decorative inserts around the foglamps so that defo is not an s line.

I dont think an Sline pack adds Xenons, they come standard on the Sport model though. Alot of people opted for the Sline pack on a Sport model, so maybe thats why you see so many with Xenons.
I wasn't sure if they were Sling seats, but I've taken another look at they're defo not.

Yes you are correct there. I never realised the s line is only 800 quid more. Well worth it imo.

Changes the car completely IMO, it's well worth the extra few quid.

Heading to Navan tomorrow to have a really good look at it. Cash 22000. Am i mad? any reason i should continue to look around? Any pros and cons to this car?

Better value by far if you want an Audi

    Audi A6

    Definately a Sport Pack.

The seats are Sport, the Alloys are Sport. The SE alloys were 16", those are 17". The Sport & Above came with Xenons.

I have seen SE's with Xenons and they look stupid with the bogo seats and 16" alloys.

S-Line came with a slight body kit, S-line seats(not comfortable) and the most notable the S-line badges on the front wings.

Taste is relative and very subjective.

If the OP wants to spend his money on a Range Rover Evoque then so be it or a rusty MX-5.

Crazy money for a very basic 3 year old A4.

To put it into perspective I bought a 2008 BMW 318d M Sport with similar mileage back in December for €22,500. Car has factory fitted Dakota leather interior, factory fitted Multi Media centre which includes Sat Nav, I-Drive, voice activated Bluetooth and iPod & USB connectivity.

I would consider used 3 Series prices to be similar to those of A4s so my advice is shop around and find a better value for money A4 than that one.

    Something like these perhaps:
