    hi!

    i need some info please...
    i will be travelling from barcelona to argeles sur mer in the south of france.
    trains go from barcelona to portbou but then apparently u have to change trains or something?
    does anyone know?!

    The rail gauge is different between Spain and France but I think some of the newer lines have been standardised. It used to be that you had to change trains while stop trains had some sort of variable system

    The route nowadays goes Barcelona -Figueres; Figueres-Perpignan by tgv ; and the back to Argeles, between 2.5 to 3 hours all in
    It's almost 3 hours just to Portbou

    It's about 40 each way , it could be cheaper to try book seperately the first and second sectors. Perpignan to Argeles is 4.50 one way
