First year vat registered....What can I reclaim vat on?

    Coffees/sandwiches etc on the road?
    Parking?
Phone credit for a prepay phone?

Also can I claim the vat on the quarter of household bills I will be deducting for income tax?

    Oh dear.

There is a Guide to VAT in the stickies.

    Read it.

I'm not sure why you say Oh Dear.

I'm only asking a question as it can be difficult to read through a whole Revenue Guide to find and confirm a couple of small details.

VAT Guide 2008 - Chapter 10. Pages 79-83 should get you most of the answers.

Because if you want to know if you can reclaim VAT on your lunch I can see a long list of can I claim this, can I claim that.

Perhaps make some sort of effort to read the resources available before coming looking for someone to give you ALL the answers.
