Hey hopefully a new Maynoothian as some of you already know me from my previous threads.

I'm wondering what is people's experience of NUIM's music society?

What are the nights out, other events and activities like?

Some students I talked to at the University Day told me they would definitely recommend it.

Add them on facebook, and you will probably get a clue as to what they have been up to!
Although I'm a member, and studying music, never actually been on any of the nights out, but I know they have a good few throughout the year. And if anything is to go by, they are ridiculously active, with numerous events each week! They hold talent contests, fundraisers, nights out and concerts. If you chose to join the composers soc too, they are really active aswell, with guest speakers, workshops and plenty of meetings.
Even if you don't study music, I recommend joining! :)

Music soc's brilliant, a must if you study music or just love going to events, plus they put on a fair few concerts each year!
