    Hi all,

I have a 00 toyota corolla 3 door hatchback purshased with (non standard) alloy wheels. I need to put standard steel rimmed wheels on for NCT, can anybody tell me the size of rims/tyres I require. Hubs take 4 hole 100mm PCD.

Do alloys not qualify as a modification?

Do alloys not qualify as a modification?

technically yes i suppose but you wont fail your NCT because of them provided they are in good order, not damaged/ good tyres etc.

Just make sure your nuts are on show and you'll be grand

I'd be careful about doing that in public . . .

They normally have 165/70 x 14 or sometimes 175/65 x 14 but you should be able to test it with the alloys once they aren't protruding from the arches, damaged, buckled etc and the tyres are okay
