Australia are in a real trough at the moment. I was talking with a friend of mine at work the other day about them (and he's a much bigger cricket fan and much more knowledgeable about the game than me) and we agreed that there's just not much of substance coming through to replace the players of the great team coming to the end of their careers right now.
