    Got the car serviced last week .It kept cutting out before that ,with a strong smell of pterol coming off it.It drove fantastic after being serviced but then started cutting out again.(within a day )They put new spark plugs in it .The smell of petrol is gone but when its in second or first gear like slowing down at junctions it just cuts out but always starts again .
    does anyone have any idea whats causing this ? Its been in the garage three times and still cutting out.Its a 95 bmw 318i .
    Im gone demented from it ,I depend a lot on the car and its driving me crazy they cant find whats wrong with it .

    Idle Air Control Valve, sticky Throttle Body, or your fuel filter needs replacing I reckon
