Using grant to pay fees

Hi, I got accepted into university but what I'm worried about are the fees (I know they're not officially called fees but I can't remember what it is called). I know I'm eligible for the grant, but for registration it said that last year it was 1,500 which is an amount I can't pay until my grant comes through. What happens if the deadline for paying this occurs before I get my grant? Do they make allowances for this? I'm not sure what I'll have to do/should expect!

If you're eligible for the grant you are not liable to pay the full registration fee, just the colleges student service fee which is about €200 I think.

You tell the Fees office in your college that you are waiting on the grant to come through to pay them. They pay the €2000 directly to the college.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
