hello.as mentioned,depending how you drive it....have one myself for work.i drive it 4 days a week up and down the M50 .on average between 80 to 100kph will return around 100km for 10 litres..or around 400-500 km for a full tank of fuel 40litres. i have tried many speeds within the speed limit of the motorway and of course the top speed for this jeep around 86 mph at around 4000 rpm for 100km or 62miles approx early in the morning when no traffic have managed just over 10 litres.have not done much city driving so can't help you there.the secret to the jimny is not exceeding the 3000rpm mark,anything about this it does drink the fuel,you can still manage 100kph just under 3000rpm.
at the start of working week the jeep is full of fuel (petrol)by the last working day it is on half tank...95 percent of this driving is 6am to 7am days and 6pm to 7pm so it is during off peak and peak time motoring.i keep the tyre pressure to recommended levels 23lbs front and 26lbs rear on the standard tyres supplied with the jimny.i drove it up from the garage in cork average speed 40kph(forgot at time the speedo is kph not mph as most cars owned are in mph)to 120kph i used 3/4 tank of fuel for 375kph national routes and motorways...can't complain it suits me for what i want of it...excuse the expression it is a whore for fuel in relation to my city car which i fill up every 7wks and get 50 to 90mpg yes 90 mpg when not driving it like an eejit.
