Anyone working for CIE know what time the Steam train will be passing each way through Dunlaoghaire tomarrow.?

I only see departure and arrival times from Malahide and Wicklow from the RPSI site.

    Cheers.

It passed Bray as you posted on here; actually!

186 was suffering from a bit of a leak somewhere and was looking dodgy early on in the day, hence the late running for much of the day. Happily her loco crew were able to tweak a few pipes and shovels and kept here going at full pelt throughout, even up the notorious Rathdrum bank, making up some of the lost time.

As ever, a great day was had by all with two full trains on the day; Malahide to Wicklow and Wicklow to Arklow for the locals.

Damn, missed it, I can normally hear a southbound train on the incline from Sandycove however Northbound trains are a lot quieter and only hear them as they pass the back garden.

Didn't mind the wait when the 186 finally came along

Thanks for the info about the train's schedule.

Lovely photo of 186 - you may consider copying it to the collection of pics on 'Train and Rail Systems', in the 'Irelands's Preserved Locomotives - Gallery' thread. All contributions welcome !!! :D
