My laptop will not charge

i have a Toshiba satellite c650d - 12j, i recently drop it and now it will not charge, my brother has the same top of laptop so i am charging my battery off his. it is not the charger the is the problem it is the lasptop it self, i think it might be the power jack. what can i do to fix this problem, and if i can't fix it…

what can i do to fix this problem, and if i can't fix it myself do any of ye know a laptop repair place is west clare (kilkee,kilrush would rather not go to ennis) and can you give me rough esitmate of how much it will cost to fix.
