    Moved to its own thread

OP what's your budget? What does your wife like? More info makes it easier to give suggestions :)

Well traditionally the 4th anniversary gift is flowers but the modern day gift is silk/linen or travel so in that sense; lingerie or a weekend away I guess.

My husband took our son, me and the bump out for a meal together (bump is now 10 weeks old). Depending on weather you have children or not a meal (without children if you have them) would be nice along with some jewelry/flowers. I think that 5 years is a bigger deal though we still make a small fuss every month.

A great gift would be a photo on canvas. Timeless and captures a fond memory. just a thought.

What about something incorporating the number 4?

Like 4 framed pictures, one from each year of your marriage to date? You can run with it, pick up 4 of her favourite flowers into a small bouquet, 4 small samples of her favourite bath oils, 4 of her favourite foods / desserts etc. Very personal and can be done cheaply enough with a bit of thought - nice night in together and looks like a HUGE effort and thought on your part ;0) Have fun!
