External MIC for HTC Desire

    The sound quality when recording video is horrible. Are there any external mic's available for the HTC Desire?

    As with all mobiles the builtin mic is at the bottom of the phone in order to pickup the user's voice when they hold the device to their ear, it's not in the optimum position to pickup the background noise when shooting a movie.

    Did you try using the mic on the supplied headset?
