Hi, I have the Cisco EPC2425 router on my UPC BB. Attached to my router I have a Netgear NAS Ultra 2 storage device which can be accesed remotely using the Netgear client ReadyNAS from Itouch or Laptop. I seem to have all my setups correct on the device's however I still cant access the storage device even when trying wireless from home. Does anyone know if there are settings on the Cisco EPC2425 which need to be set inorder for clients to gain remote access.
    All advice appreciated.

    Jim

I am not familiar with the hardware you have, but in general, you need a static address on your NAS box. You need to forward external traffic to this address, on whatever port/port range is required. This is configured on your router... usually in 'port forwarding', NAT or some such option.

There should be no issue with accessing it on the same network, assuming you have told the client the internal address of the NAS, not the internet facing address.
