No thread! How do we think this will pan out? Llorente starting up front so we'll see how he fares against PL defences. Modric not starting but is on the bench - what sort of a reaction do you think he'll get?

I reckon we'll win by a goal, but Llorente will score and show us exactly what he's about.

Modric is spending too much time on the bench in my opinion. Harry is definitely preparing for life without him. If he had a positive influence pre-season and then moved it could undermine our whole season. Sadly, I think he's on his way.

As for Llorente, he looks strong and agile, maybe a touch of Berbatov about him?! If he can put the ball in the onion bag, sign him up!

Modric coming on for Pienaar - very little booing, which is nice to hear.

Spurs 1 down, header not properly cleared, landed straight on the foot of a defender who put it straight into the net on the volley - nice finish.

Good to see luka get a big cheer. But didn't see him acknowledge the crowd which isn't a great sign. Please god stay! Llorente has looked good so far. Would he really want to leave his home country?? Hopefully he does!!

    Defoe, 2 - 1 ** you have to go too - sorry! **

Walker is impressive. Him and Lennon on the right must be the quickest right side in the league!

Good result, and a good 2nd half performance. Walker looked good, as did Krancjaer, despite his penalty miss. Happy enough with that to be honest.

So much of next season is going to depend on Defoe getting back to his old self.

Gomes. Didn't see second half unfortunately so not sure if he went off.

It was just a routine change. Both keepers looked solid.
