Hi guys, I have a faulty HP pavillion DV6000 laptop and was hoping maybe some of you could help me out.
Basically there is two problem. The first is the wireless switch no longer works. Ive tried downloading the latest wireless drivers from the Hp website but still no luck.
The second is more serious, from time to time the laptop screen will get distorted and just freeze, meaning the only way to get it going again is to remove the battery, wait a few mins and start it up again.
Any help is much appreciated as it will save me purchsing a new laptop. Thanks in advance guys.

The GPU needs to be replaced or reballed with lead solder this is a common problem with the DV6000 model

sell it as 'faulty' on ebay then put it towards a new one. you'll still more than likely get 3/4 of the value of the laptop back
