fixing decoys

    hey there guys just a bit of advice if you will i was out there yesterday shot over 155 pigeons great day but my advice is this i out out my decoys and some reason they were not coming in found the problem my pattern was too long on one side and the birds had to to do too much work to come into the pattern so i shorten one side and low and behold one after the other they just kept on coming over the field of rape, so lads dont just sit there hope for the best do something bout it i was very happy i got up and moved things around

    howya pal did you go a hourseshoe pattern?
    have had that problem myself a few times also are you setting up near trees? do you find trees a problem with birds lets say having a looking and then pearching up sussin out your layout?

    thanks there fella i have noticed bout trees but i have also noticed birds dont lie been trapped they like a easy escape way for example dont but your decoys right up to the ditch as tehy cant escape then that is what i always found and yes horse shoe always works some lads just throw out decoys any way that dont work in my eyes
