VW Passat has few faults -

    My 2003 passat tdi 100bhp is losing power and workshop emissions is coming up on screen..
    A scanner was put on it and has 2 faults come up

    19586:
    Egr system regulation range exceeded..

    19263:
    Powertrain data bus:system version monitoring.

    I did clean out the entire egr value few months ago but problem came back

    Anyone able to advise..

    Replace the egr valve.

    Cleaning worked for a while now it's time for replacement

    hi, i had a tdi tuning box which belongs to an 2001 passat i use to drive and fitted it and the engine management light went out and emissions workshop also was gone and had good bit more power too..

    for full 3 days it lasted and everything great until today when all come back again and down in power..

    wonder what happened, why after 3 days is it back to square one ??
