Anyone got any good recommendations on tech based podcasts? Hardware, software, seo etc.

Not that big a fan of Twit but have listened to Ipad Today and some of security now. Any of their other shows good?

Check out Revision 3 to see if they have stuff.

I recently started using Boxee for a home media centre and it comes with a Revision 3 app - lots of techie shows and it's constantly updated.

The TED talks are also worth a look - some very cool stuff on them from time to time

Jupiter Broadcasting has some good content.

It's hard to beat TWiT Network for this kind of thing though. Leo's an old hand - anyone else remember him (as Dev Null) with Soledad O'Brien on The Site?

I'm a big fan of the shows on 5by5, thought they wouldn't be as varied in topic as shows on TWiT.

I stopped listening to TWiT for a long time because they just got too bat**** crazy and off topic far too often, especially in the days when they used to get through bottles of wine while recording This Week In Tech. Good to see they have started to reign that back in a bit.

Really liking the founders talk podcast from these guys. Very similar to the TechCrunch TV and Foundation video podcasts.

These Ozzie's are well informed, entertaining and the don't take any crap from their interviewees.

    It's great stuff.

I listened to Computer America a few times, then Carey Holzman left. He's now over at Tech-Vets. Again, I don't listen all that often, but they've some interesting stories on how they bill clients, etc.

This is a twice a week half an hour show. One is a new cast and the other is a feature cast

I liked this show for how tight and focused it is

I stopped listening to the show because I found the guy very hard to listen to. Not because he has a bad voice but because he reading off a written speech (or at least that what is sounded like) and delivering his speech flatly.

However I loved the content because of it's focus on digital citizney, as he calls it.

Another one I recommend is the conversations network(note I do work for them but I have listened to them for years)

IT conversations is a daily "channel" that has audio talks from various conferences and weekly shows as well. Vary form 15 minutes to under an hour.

There are other ones such as baychi that is focused on user experience and design. There are also non tech ones such as social innovation conversations. Try that network.

My favorite is http://www.tested.com/podcast/, genuinely entertaining guys, they cover all the interesting news, do tests of new tech, and answer questions... and the tested website is awesome too!

    I highly reccommend www.podnutz.com

A variety of shows ranging from day-day PC repair/maintenance to a show dealing with on-site business support. The shows are conducted on Skype and the video is also recorded, then uploaded to twitch.tv

I have to agree with other posters that some of the TWIT shows go off topic alot of the time which is very annoying...especially with Leo who thinks he's GOD. Plus they have too many shows to get through.

Having recently bought a windows phone, I started listening to Twit.tv's Windows Weekly show just to keep tabs on how the platform was shaping up. But Leo's neurotically pro-microsoft stance was hard to take.

I'm a very happy Windows phone user but I admit the platform has a few rough edges (as well as some very nicely sorted features) but according to Leo, everything about Microsoft and Windows Phone implemented better than any of the competition. It felt weird!

I eventually stopped listening when Leo said something like "Yeh, the other day I googled ... I mean ... I binged <such a such>".

    just my 2p ...

    Rob.

I like buzz out loud on cnet.com ,covers general tech news, and its sometimes very funny, only on once a week.I listen to twit ,this week in tech, but its abit annoying,ie its like everyone can buy a new phone ,every month, or the latest gadget ,not realistic ,most people use a pc , phone for 3 years on average.
