Team to change jersey every half time.

I support a Swiss team called Lausanne-Sport. This season the team is going to change jersey every half time so they can have a different main sponsor (Switched between Migros Sport XX and Banque Cantonal Vaudoise). The Swiss league has given this the all clear, which I find strange. I have no idea what the fans version is going to be like. They're generally plastered with sponsors, front, back and sleaves.

Whatever the rights and wrongs, a club has got to do what a club has got to do. The only thing I'd say is the basic colour of the jersey is still the same which is good. It's not a major change like Madrid vs Leicster a few weeks ago or United vs Southampton back in the 90's.

I'm all for it as long as the jersey colour stays the same.

Despise it, football's gone to the sh!tter, a lot of countries are similar to the Swiss already with the filling every possible part of the kit with a sponsor job.

Are you Swiss? Quite like the Swiss league.

Who cares? They should be applauded for maximisimng the club's ability to generate revenue. I'm sure their supporters won't be complaining if it helps them pay for a better striker or better facilities at the ground.

No I'm not, just lived there a couple of times. It is a very good league.

Certainly hats off for coming up with this idea but I could see it being rejected in so many other leagues. I think the examples given earlier of Man Utd one is a completely different as that was a camoflage issue.

Nice fresh clean jerseys at half time? I'm sure the players are loving it!

I always assumed players changed jerseys at half time? Okay maybe not in lower leagues but at the larger clubs anyway...

Saw the title and figured this had to be about Ireland jersies.

I remember when Henrik Larsson played for Helsingborg they had an obscene amount of sponsors. Imagine wearing that thing around. You'd be like a walking billboard.

I was at a HJK Helsinki game before and was amazed at the amount of sponsrship.

Just found an image for some of it ...

Even in the club shop it was something like €90 to buy the replica jersey with all the sponsors on it, or there was a sponsorless option for €50 or so.

Well I've heard everything now. Shouldn't those prices be the other way round?

That movie was right about the future having everyone just dressing day-to-day like walking billboards.

I bought a Lausanne jersey 10 years ago and it was the same story, they wanted more for the sponsored version, who gives a tupenny feck about the sponsors?
