    Hi guys,

I'm hoping to get a new 32" TV within the next few weeks and I'm wondering what the extra cost would be to enable it to hook it up to my laptop so I can surf the net via my TV as a monitor of sorts.

Just wondering what extra equipment I would need to get a set up like this, or what kind of TV should I be looking for?

Do I need a special TV to do this, or can I get this set up with any LCD TV?

I want to use the TV for watching TV, movies etc... plus the ability to surf the web from it.

Can I use a wireless keyboard with the TV?

I'm new to all of this btw! :o

Has your laptop got a HDMI port ? if so you can hook that badboy up to any HD tv pretty much. I do it all the time when watching films, you can set it up so you can watch a film on your TV while your browsing on your laptop. grand job.

If your on a budget a VGA IN on the tv will suffice.

Run the audio via a 3.5 to 3.5 jack.
