You living with friends or strangers? Best thing to do is get ta know your block, I met some of the nicest people in first year, mighty craic can be had if yer sound with yer neighbours!
We were on the top floor with a loada first years so there were never really noise complaints, the only problem can be sneaking non residents in..sometimes. Especially round RAG week..

Aside from that twas grand, had a mighty first year in Cuirt..plenty of fond memories. Downsides is our deposit had a fair chunk taken out of it for misc things (our house was fine, no raving houseparties or damage done...) They'll keep any penny they can..!!

They really that strict? I was in the private are of Gort last year and we were nearly the only students there...but at least we didn't have to worry about complaints about parties and such! But that area wasn't lively at all. No I don't know any of my housemates this year so it should be interesting!
