    This takes me back a bit (1981, I think), so does anybody remember "The California Dolls"? It told the story of two incredibly beautiful female wrestlers trying to get a shot at the world tag-team title. Peter Falk (RIP) played the part of their manager, constantly hustling crooked promoters and referees to advance the hopes of his girls.

    I saw the movie once on BBC, and I wonder if it might get screened again as part of a Falk season. Probably not, given that the wrestling scenes involving scantily-clad women were pretty explicit and would definitely not be PC in the 21st century.
