iv decided to start a laptop refurb business on the side while at college, buying faulty ones, fixing, then selling on ebay,

iv been researching on ebay, but very few sellers will ship to ireland, and not many people a selling faulty machines in ireland,

are there any other sources i could look into?
id be looking for p4 minimum or maybe p3 if they where very cheap(have to be making a profit lol)

    any help would be appreciated

    No market for it.
P4 and P3??? seriously?! People buy netbooks for 250 instead of ten year old laptops for slightly less.

iv seen plenty of upgraded p4's selling for around 130,

some people just want simple laptops

if theres a market for it why question it?

People will tend to buy any PC as long as you sell it well enough.

You often see 2nd hand netbooks selling for €160+

Any working laptop would generally fetch over €150

thats exactly what i seen, professional looking ebay adverts, they seem to sell the crappyiest low end ones for over 100,

    one i saw p4, 512mb ram, nd 20gb hdd was €150

my plan was to sell p4, 1gb ram, nd 80gb hdd for around that price

We have two old laptops in the house , they are really heavy and would probably cost €25 to post at least .

Which is one reason why we did'nt sell them online .

yeah postage is a problem, but generally within ireland most would only cost €10 to post, thats based on a 3kg parcel
and overseas well if they want to pay the postage, up to themselves
