    Hi everyone.

I'm just wondering can anyone give me advice on changing the front brake pads on a Citroen Saxo? Is it a complicated job that would be better done in a garage or is it possible to do it easily yourself?

Want to get stuck into doing maintainance myself and considering they need replacing it might be a good place to start.

    Any info. would be fantastic.

    Thanks :D

Cheers for the reply Row. Not near the car at the moment and also (stupid and all as this sounds) where can I find the vin?

Cheers. Have looked at a few videos and its seems like a simple enough job. But I haven't tried it so it'll probably seem like a mammoth task!

The hardest part is usually to get going, once you have the car up on stands and the wheels off it's a breeze.

Forgot to say, once you have the new pads on, pump the brake pedal
a few times, a few people i know forget and get a bit of a surprise car could roll
    for a bit first.

Also allow a bit more than usual from braking so the new pads bed in, first
    100 miles or so.

Going by servicebox there are two types of brake systems fitted on the saxo.
    (These are both non-ventilated discs)
I cannot post the full guide due to copyright so if you pm me an email address i'll send on the guide to you.

    1) Benbix non-ventilated discs
