As good as it will be to start a season without him, Ray Wilkins is probably even worse! Anyway, I'll always remember Gray's quote from the Fiorentina-Liverpool group game a few years ago:

'Not only are they beating Liverpool, they're beating a club from the Premier League ! They'll be looking on that as being a real feather in their cap tonight'

For me, it's gnarling pro-British bias like that which made it nigh on impossible to watch English teams on Sky.

I wouldn't mind if it was as you say "pro-British bias" but it's pro-English bias and he is feckin Scottish
