Wheel/tyre Change advice needed

Hi all, I've got a Specialized Tri-cross bike. I need new tyres so was thinking of changing for road bike tyres. (I only use on Road) Can I just change for new tyres & tubes or am I going to need new wheels as well??? Thanks, Shazbot

You should be able to get some sort of road tyres for the same wheels, but depending on the width you may be of the rims (from wall to wall), you may be limited to using wider tyres. I'm not familiar with the tricross range, so I couldn't tell you for sure what range they can accommodate. This page might give you some idea though, if you can measure or get dimensions for the rims.
