    Broadsheet

Have to say, I wouldn't be adverse to the idea. He wouldn't be doing it for money or fame & he's extremely well educated, passionate about important matters etc, has a sense of national & civic pride. But would he take the pay-cut ?

Maybe we can shoehorn in Vice President Farrell

    Ladies & Gentlemen: President Gleeson

    Brendan Gleeson eh?

    Nice man, great actor.

I haven't heard the 'B' man speak up on anything concerning Ireland on any consistent basis.

Sure he castigated the HSE,because his mother was affected, sure he did.

Wouldn't we all do that.Does he live in Ireland?, pay bulk of taxes in Ireland.

    ;)

    On yer bike big man.

I did suggest a President Election sub-forum for the politics board. Not sure how many of these threads would get moved across though!

Pick 10 punters at random and let the election be between them.
