    I want to go for a break for 8-12 days over Christmas with a friend of mine..

    Both male, both single.. age approx 30

    I've looked at Bali, Cuba, Thailand but am a little concerned that we wont have enough time t appreciate and experience all these places have to offer..

    Its a little "once in a lifetime", and have looked at things like driving the California Sunshine Coast but the weather doesn't appear to be fantastic there over that period..

    I'm not looking at 40 degree heat as a requirement but a little winter sunshine mixed in with a decent "non couples" experience would be good.

    Any suggestions?
